A Breath of Fresh Air: Everyone deserves clean air

International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it a breath of fresh air for everyone. Fossil-fuelled air pollution is a silent and indiscriminate killer, affecting all of us. That’s why we’re calling on you to join the clean air movement.

How to Get Involved

Take a photo that represents clean air and clear skies to you. Use the form to submit your photo and tell us in a few words why clean air is important to you. Get creative and heartfelt. Your story could inspire others.

Once you’ve submitted your photo, share it on social media with the hashtag #WorldCleanAirDay and Invest in #CleanAirNow. Tag Greenpeace India at @greenpeaceindia and encourage your friends to join the clean air movement.

Why Your Participation Matters

Air pollution affects everyone, but together, we can make a difference. Sharing your stories about the importance of clean air can raise awareness and show the world what we’re fighting for: healthier communities, thriving ecosystems, and a brighter future.

What will we do with your photos?

We intend to use the images submitted in the following ways:

  • To be used by Greenpeace India, Greenpeace International and Greenpeace NROs for Clean Air Day social media posts and website content. By submitting your photo, you agree to having the photo edited to meet the platforms’ requirements.
  • From time to time we will publish selected images on Greenpeace India, Greenpeace International and Greenpeace National/Regional Organisations (NROs) digital channels to inspire more people to join the clean air movement. The images will not be used for fundraising.  
  • To make videos supporting this project. It will be shared on the digital channels of Greenpeace India, Greenpeace International and Greenpeace NROs.
