I want inclusive and accessible streets in Mysuru
Mysuru streets instead of being a place of stress, should be a place where I can walk without fear, pause without being pushed aside, and move through the city with dignity.
Today, many of our streets are designed for speed, not people. Broken footpaths, unsafe crossings, and constant traffic make everyday movement difficult, especially for children, elders, and persons with disabilities. This is not the Mysuru we deserve.
Mysuru does not need wider roads or faster cars. It needs safer footpaths, calmer streets, shaded walkways, and crossings that put people first. When walking feels safe and public transport feels reliable, the whole city becomes more caring, accessible, and liveable.
I want a Mysuru that chooses people over vehicles.
A city where accessibility is not an afterthought, but the starting point.
I’m signing this petition to demand safer streets, inclusive design, and a people first Mysuru.
